Hi! If you guys are reading this, then hopefully it means that you like this site!
I just thought I'd tell you a little about how this site works. What happens is, I see a movie! And weather I liked the movie or not, the next thing I'm going to do is tell you guys about it!
See, all the movies on this site (I know there aren't very many yet) are in categories. Comedy, Horror, Sci-Fi and such. Under the categories, they're organized by date that I saw them, NOT by release date! So that the movies I've seen most recently will be at the top of the page under each category.
When you’re reading one of my reviews, the first thing listed is the date. Again, this is that date that I saw the movie, and in most cases it is also the date that I’m writing my entry. The next thing down will be the name of the movie as well as the release date. This is because in some cases, the movies I’m reviewing will be either an original or a remake, and I don’t want you guys to get mixed up.
The next thing is the actual review. It’s usually my opinions on the movie along with a (very brief) plot summary. There might also be comparisons to other movies, or links to other reviews. After the review, you’ll see one of my favorite lines from the movie. In most cases, this is a single line spoken by one of the main characters. These quotes are all courtesy of www.imdb.com, thanks you guys!
The next item you will see, is my overall rating. It’s based on the familiar old star system. 1 out of 5 stars being pretty lousy, and 5 out of 5 stars being amazing!
On the right side of the screen, just across from the review, you’ll see a picture. This is usually the movie poster for the film I’ve reviewed. If you click on one of these movie pictures, you'll be taken to that movie's page on www.imdb.com if you want more information than what I've provided. All of the pictures I use come from Google Images.
Now, sometimes, if I think a movie is just so phenomenally good that everyone should go out and see it immediately, I’ll give you guys a little sneak peak. These are movie trailers courtesy of www.YouTube.com (and wherever YouTube got them from).
